Stake Youth Conference

On October 10th and 11th i went with a few of my friends to Stake Youth Conference, SYCis a church activity where teens 14 and up go and learn the gospel more in debtly. i went to SYC with my friend sabrina and we cannot wait till next year!!!! It was so much fun...!!!!!!! The only down side is that it was like... 10 degrees outside where it was held!!!!At the beginning of SYC we went and we got into groups, as i recall my group was jonathon, elaine, nathan, josh,a few i dont recall.=(. AS a group we went and made a flag with all our names and our role call. we Also made our slogan... as i recall it was "the teriffic ten... who are steadfeast and immovabele". not very creative. We then as a WHOLE group meaning everyone who was there, went and did a service project!!!! it was so much fun and cold. we were making many toys and wallpaper for adoption centers... we could do many things from painting wallpaper and sanding toys and making quilts and coloring games onto folders. Me and my friend sabrina decided to paint wallpaper squares. at first i did a snail and then i did a horse... then i finished tying a quilt!!!! sfter the service project everyone went to eat and then we went to a dance. that dance was the funniest dance i went to!!!! Amazing music and amazing people where there! Way to go Brother trussel!!!!!

The next day we all meet together for opening prayer and we then ate breakfest. we then as a group itself listened to a devotional. we went from one devotional to another to another!!! knowing one of the speakers i really got alot from that devotional. we all then neede to pack up as we watched a amazing slide show and said our last good byes... bye!!!
